March 24th is Lady Ada Lovelace Day!

(I’m a little on the late train in announcing this, but the party can continue through tomorrow, and even into the weekend, for those so inspired.)

Ada Lovelace, daughter of Lord Byron, Lady of Lovelace, and the first computer programmer.  Not the first female, simply the first.

Proceed to rock on.

By the way, for the geeks out there, I’ll be speaking at the Wisconsin Library Association’s conference in November.  I’ll be there with the good folks from Winding Rivers Library System to talk about the WordPress website project I worked on with ~20 member libraries this winter.
