Pleased to meet you.
The Radical Futures Project started as a conversation among a cozy group of gardeners, computer geeks, art freaks–and yes, circus people– in Chicago-San Francisco-Berlin-Atlanta. The conversation started as a way to explore options for a different kind of adulthood–something both itinerant and rooted, both technically savvy and traditionally schooled.
The Radical Futures Road Tour is a pilgrimage (scheduled for Summer 2009-Fall 2010) to visit those conversationalists, bring the conversation to new audiences, and learn from other tinkerers who are practicing their own radical future, right now. We look forward to using this site and other tools to bring you some wild communication kung-fu along the way. We hope you’re having as much fun as we are.
